Hopper Bottom Silos

Hopper bottom silos are more suitable for short-term storage.

They are used mainly for grains such as rice or pellets.

Hopper silos are mainly used for short term storage, in areas where it is difficult to have an optimal foundation.

They are also recommended for grains such as rice or pellets (more fragile), in which the product can easily break, thus avoiding the use of sweepers for discharge. Instead, the discharge is done by gravity through a 45º or 60º hopper.
